WHAT TECHNOLOGY, DEVICES, AND SOFTWARE THAT ENBLE MOBILE VIDEO WEBCASTING FOR JUSTIN KAN’S JUSTIN.TV?
Justin Kan and his team at Justin.tv just started a mobile live video webcasting about a month ago. I kind of understand the general concept of how the technology works. I can guess that they might use the following: head-camera, video transmitter that connects to the camera, cellular card that connects to the [...]

I HAVE A MOBILE INTEL GM965 EXPRESS CHIP IN MY LAPTOP & WANT TO CONNECT A 32″ HDTV TO IT. CAN IT HANDLE 1080P?
I have no DVI or HDMI port on my laptop, only VGA. I do not know if I should get a 32″ 720p or 1080p TV.
WHERE DO I GET DECENT QUALITY MP4 MOVIES OR TV SERIES THAT WORK ON JAVA MOBILE PHONES?
Most of them have no picture and just have sound.
90% of those that do play have the sound 10seconds in front of the picture.
Anything over 240×320 or 320×240 wont play on the phone, and they obviously cant be a zip file or rar file as the phone wont extract passworded files.
70mb unpassworded files take 4hours [...]

If someone designs one.
A virus can sit on an iPod’s flash memory if you plug it into an affected computer… otherwise, not yet.
November 26, 2009 - 10:02 am
Probablies if you download sofware onto them?

A virus requires a piece of technology to be able to run backround activities so radios and tvs are out. There is a few viruses for nokia smart phones i’m aware of and there are some for devices like the psp.

Yes. As long as a device has some sort of storage (flash, ROM, HDD) it can get a virus. But they will have to be very clever to write a virus for a TV. What will it do, change the language?
November 26, 2009 - 10:37 am
There have been viruses that have hit cell phones.
I-Pod is not likely to get a virus although there have been a few.(See the first link below.)
As for a Normal TV and Radio I have never heard of them getting a virus.
The big thing to avoid when it comes to viruses is opening something that you are not expecting or not familiar with.
Hope it helps.

Any breed of digital memory can be exploited; Mobile phones and iPods already have several.
As far as the radio, again if it has a digital memory, the day will come.
Now, to the TV: mine already has been taken over.
It seems that a show, scheduled for 1 hour has been commandeered by adware that takes up nearly half of that allotted time with ads for cave man insurance; hard on pills; magic weight loss pills; some guy who screams about oxyclean & my dirty laundry among other non-sense “buy now” trash, & on & on…
