Besides the obvious way of running a cable. That is not an option. Windows Media Extender does not seem to support hulu or network tv sites yet for streaming so I can’t think of any other way. Boxee might in the future but it’s only in alpha and I am not sure [...]

well for the internet access yes, there are wireless network cards… as far as the tv capture they do infact have these available but this is extremely cutting edge stuff… not readily available for the market yet.

for wireless internet, you need a wireless broadband modem, or to connect a mobile phone to your laptop
for tv, you need a tv card in your laptop (or USB tv tuner) and an aerial to recieve the signa, but make sure it’s digital tv otherwise you’ll need a very large antenna
and wireless cards are very available. i bought a digital one from ebay for less than $50 AUD about 3 months ago
and the first answer was also wrong, as wireless network cards only allow you to have wireless internet 30m (max) from your wireless router. (which may be all the mobility you want)
there are plenty of wireless boradband plans available, but tehy are very bad value compared to normal broadband however you can connect to the internet almost anywhere.

um not both lets work on the tv firstly you will need something called Sling Box you can pickup one at bestbuy compusa curcity city and many other stores that will fix the problem wirelessly. you will need a phone company wireless card if you want to get internet anyware but they are a bit pricy if not you can get a wifi card and a wireless router will fix the problem if you want more details on these email me and i will be glad to explain futher
