HOW DOES APPLE TV CONNECT TO COMPUTER?
ok, well Ive bean really looking at apple tvs for a while, and I was thinking about a lot of stuff that need answering from people that have had apple tv for a while, and know all about it.
1. How does apple tv connect to your personal home library
2. Songs and tv shows that you purchase on apple tv, do they HAVE to go on your computer, like state I did not wanna fill up all personal memory?
3. Can you purchase songs movies and tv shows strait from your apple tv, sitting on the couch, and It like saves on the tiny white box thing’s memory?
4. how does apple tv connect to internet, like how would you purchase songs from sitting on Your couch?
5. can you play songs off apple tv, in a playlist, for like say, a party?
6. if you purchase songs/tv/movies on apple tv, is it possible to get on your Ipod?
7. state I have the song low on my Ipod, (I know that I can connect an ipod to apple tv) can I put that song on my apple tv, and disconnect the ipod, but still hear low? (in other words, can you put stuff from Ipod memory, to apple tv memory?
8. is apple tv mobile?

1. Apple TV connects to your iTunes library over your home network, either through a wireless connection or Ethernet cable.
2. I believe items purchased on your Apple TV must go into your computer’s iTunes library whenever the device syncs, but all of the songs on your computer do not have to go on to the Apple TV. You can select what goes there like you would an iPod.
3. Yes. It’s very, very easy.
4. See question 1. It connects as if it were another computer on your home network.
5. Yes, it works very well for this scenario. It has a great screen saver that plays while your music is playing that can show your photos or album covers. Very cool.
6. Yes.
7. Yes, but you would have to do this through your iTunes library. You cannot copy a song directly from an iPod onto an Apple TV without doing some major hacking.
8. No. It requires some sort of network-based internet connection, and to my knowledge there isn’t a hack that allows you to connect to the internet via a mobile device such as an iPhone.
