MY COMPUTER HAS THE ANTIVIRUSPRO 2009!!! HELP?
So my personal has this virus, I have tried everything, uninstalling it, system restore to an earlier date. Than I read up more and downloaded that malware (which just would not open on my computer) and now I have downloaded the AVG, it sees the virus but it doesnt’ get rid of it, I mean it states it does but when the personal comes back up it’s still there!
It’s totaly messed up my computer, My phone is vonage so that doesn’t work, I have iptv so that doesn’t work either! this sucks… somone help please.
And I do not have the microsoft xp cd, so I cannot really erase everything and begin over…what should I do?
I have already tried to delete the antivirus, I did that ctr alt delete thing, it just came back..
I lost the restore disk for my computer… I know… that is not good…
( so now I am stuck.
my personal will not even go to the malawarebytes site… when I tried it before it froze during the installation process, and froze everytime I tried to open it… hmm…

You cannot erase everything?! Why do people not have the correct tools to fix their computers?! I mean, would you work on a car without a wrench?
Anyway, the only thing I can recommend would be trying to use AVG in safemode and/or malwarebytes to try to get rid of the virus.

find the restore disk that came with your computer and do a full system restore. you can also take it to geek squad to firedog to have them clear it out for you

hi!
what I would do, is try and del. Antiviruspro 2009 ’s folder in program files
if you get a message cannot delet folder then look at the name of the .exe in that same folder and do a ctrl + alt + del and search for it in the process tab find it end task and try deleting it again.
or you could try Dr. Web Cureit!
ftp://ftp.drweb.com/pub/drweb/cureit/launch.exe
AVG is no good
Ok
I Suggest you try Spybot
Go to the website

Good luck iam sure spybot will take care of it.

Antivirus (2009. et al) and variants;
Don’t feel lonesome, hundreds of thousands of Internet Explorer users are getting this virus (masked as a ‘Security’ tool). It is prevalent on the ‘My Space’ site.
It is an especially nasty one, and must be removed with one (of several) specialized utilities.
I’ve not tried them all, but I have prescribed ‘Malwarebytes’ & it worked.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
The reason people get it is they allow “3rd Party Cookies” and ‘Active ‘X’, which in this case displays some type of icon, or pop-up warning, which is an “opacity-based attack” whereby the real action you perform is hidden behind the visible display; so when you tick anything, the malware installs itself.
Unlike typical pop-up advertising (stopped with available blockers) 3rd party cookies are entirely different critters.
Turn off “3rd Party Cookies”, and always leave them off.
INTERNET EXPLORER: Tools> Internet Options> Privacy> Advanced: here check ‘Override automatic….’; ‘Allow session cookies’; ‘Allow 1st party cookies’; & ‘Block 3rd Party Cookies’.
FIREFOX: Tools> Options> Privacy: here UN-CHECK ‘Accept 3rd Party cookies’
OPERA, et al: not sure, check under ‘options’ for this.
Because architecture of the Internet (notably ‘Flash’ scripting), vulnerabilities are readily exploited in Internet Explorer, & it is now urgent that you use
Firefox with current ‘NoScript’ add-on, which will prevent “opacity-based attacks”.
NoScript: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

You will have to try to navigate to http://www.spyware-techie.com/antiviruspro-2009-removal-guide-and-information/ or use another computer or a friends and read the steps on how to remove it. it is totally free and you do not have to purchase any software.

Depending on how long ago this virus invaded your computer – it might be real easy to get rid of it – or real hard if you waited too long. We provide a 15 minute anlysis for just $25. If you chose to have us fix it, we’ll apply that amount towards the total. Depending on where you live we might be able to send a technician, otherwise we provide mail-in service at the same cost as if we came on-site. Visit http://www.debug911.com for more info
