HOW CAN I MAKE A WIRELESS ADAPTER AT HOME?
I have an ADSL2+ modem which i use.
I have 3 spare ADSL Modems, one old Ericsson mobile with an antenna and some spare Television antennas.
I want to have wifi in my house, but my father is not allowing me to purchase a wifi adapter
can i make a home-made wireless adapter with the above stuff(i can purchase some extra stuff if needed)
I am using Bharti Broadband

To develop WiFi you need hardware that specifically works with WiFi specification. Cell phones work on completely different frequencies. ADSL modems work over phone lines so they dont generate any waves in the wireless frequency (well perhaps maybe as accidental emissions).
The level of sophistication that is present in current hardware is far to complex to be simply “made at home”, not in any practical period of time.
If you enjoy tinkering with electronics you can buy IC (chipsets) that have WiFi capability and use it as you starting point. But it would be cheaper to just buy a WiFi card.
Besides you need two WiFi devices in order to communicate. That is, just having a wireless card isn’t enough, you router (or access point) has to be WiFi-capable as well.
