HOW CAN I CONNECT MY LAPTOP TO MY TV USING A VGA ADAPTER TO AN S VIDEO CABLE?
I have tried many things but nothing works….when i plug it in it is just black and blurry and when i messed with the resolution i got it to where i could somewhat see what was on the screen but it was still super bad and blurry and the photo was tripled and was still black and white. I also have the intel tv wizard but it doesn’t recognize the tv and when i try to select my own input it doesn’t have vga and will not grant me to click on s video. I also tried restarting my personal and then fn f4 key it all does nothing. I have the intel graphics media accelerator driver for mobile. Someone help me! Is there anything i can download or what do i have to do?!

You can probably just pick up and S-Video to VGA adapter. Last time i checked they are pretty cheap. Just link the vga adapter to the port on the laptop, then connect the svideo to the tv. Good luck!

It sounds like the TV and everything else you are trying to do is not compatible with your hardware… meaning, it won’t work since the hardware isn’t powerful enough to handle it. If you’re just looking to put your computer on the TV to watch movies you can use this or something similar:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817707073
This connects from VGA to component cables.
If you’re trying to do a split screen or dual monitor setup, you might be out of luck… hope someone has a better solution. Good luck.
