I need to connect my laptop to my Television to watch Netflix on my TV. I have an S-video port on my laptop, but I do not think I have the right port on my TV. I have heard about an adaptor, but I do not know specifically what it is.

Check if you have an S-Video port on your tv. If not check if you have some other output.
~Audio~
Buy a cable that has the same ends and fits into the headphones port on your laptop. Plug one end in your laptop and the other into your tv.
