HOW OFTEN DOES NETFLIX UPDATE TV SHOW EPISODES? DO THEY ALWAYS WAIT TIL DVD IS RELEASED? (FOR STREAMING)?

How often does Netflix update Television show episodes? Do they always wait til DVD is released? (for streaming)?
I was hoping to subscribe to netflix is lue of cable and was wondering if netflix does in fact update a show after it airs or if episodes arent availible til dvd release. Primarily interested in tv streaming…on that note is roku player worth it?

I’m pretty sure that the Television show has to be out on DVD before Netflix can stream it, which means it’s at least a year old. But that could change, depending on what kind of deals Netflix can cut with the shows’ producers.

The Roku box is excellent. Great user interface, simple to use, and the simplest remote control you will ever see. Just make sure you have a good solid world wide web connection of at least 1.3 mbits/sec, with more getting you superior quality and faster buffering.
