VGA TO TV CONVERTER S-VIDEO / RCA OUT CABLE ADAPTER?

I brought a VGA to Television Converter S-Video / RCA OUT Cable Adapter off ebay for my Sony Vaio SZ360P. When I connect the AV connector to my Television it gives distorted lines on my screen. When I connect it to my VCR, it just stay on the blue screen. The video card is an Mobile intel 945GM express chipset. Anyone know how I can get this adapter to work?
i tried playing around with the resolution, the lowest it would go is 800X600… still doesn’t work

by using windows media centre, media portal i am able to see cable channels, but i cant see the composite source from my tv, i was using composite source to connect my ps3 or my mobile. plz help me with a sotware to see composite source from tv tuner card
hauppgauge has given a software along with tv called wintv 2000 but that software doesnt work in my pc

Forgive me AT&T for having so many commercials on Television about wireless networks and still not fully understanding how all this works! I need portability (access to use my equipment anywhere ie parks, beaches, etc.) I am told that there is special software that you can get for a laptop along with a card swiper that grants portability as long as there is a wireless network. However, I later found out that just because you might be able to pick up a wireless signal, does not mean that you can actually access the network. Is there a way for me to have my own portable network so that I can have wireless access anywhere-even if it is outdoors? Any mobile vendors out there that take cc’s, how do you do it?
The wireless terminal sounds good, but the credit card imprint does not. I think that with so much ID theft, people will be less likely to grant a mobile vendor to have a copy of their credit card number. I am not sure what you mean by a gateway. Is this software or an account or what? Thanks so much for all of you all’s info!

I have an ADSL2+ modem which i use.
I have 3 spare ADSL Modems, one old Ericsson mobile with an antenna and some spare Television antennas.
I want to have wifi in my house, but my father is not allowing me to purchase a wifi adapter
can i make a home-made wireless adapter with the above stuff(i can purchase some extra stuff if needed)

now a days we are hearing a news in the Television that in punjab , haryana, delhi etc , some people have received a call from an unknown number like 0098888888- and 3469785 . When the receiver receives the call , the mobile set become over heated and is destroyed . Enggineers are saying it is type of virus which is overheating the battery and therefore the mobile set is destroyed . how is it possible any body have any recommendation or have any news similar to it

I’ve just recieved a message from them telling me I have unredeemed points. It states I can call stop support but why should I, if I have never used the service? I have looked on the site and it seems to be some point redemption thing. It would not usually worry me but looking on the site it says, “This is a subscription service charged at 3GBP per week, which will be billed to your mobile phone”. Anyone any ideas? Cheers.

I am moving to a new shared home next week and they do not have internet. I do not want to have to pay for a BT line to be installed if they do not have a landline. I was thinking mobile internet, is it fast? Or slower than normal broadband?
At the moment where I am we are with tiscali, and it’s a pile of poo! Cannot watch world wide web tv or watch youtube vids, it’s soooo slow and drives me up the wall!
