TV AND INTERNET SOLUTIONS FOR NEWLY BUILT COTTAGE?

I have a cottage in New Brunswick which I am going to spend about 3 weeks a year at. It was built recently and there for does not yet have cable or internet. I live in Toronto and am just wondering what would be the ideal solution to get world wide web and Television for the 3 weeks I am there for without having to pay for a whole year. By Television I am open to all recommendations (Cable, Digital Cable, Satellite).. I am currently on Rogers Digital Cable in Toronto and Rogers Hi-Speed Internet.

My Laptop is M-life (Hyundai) M521N with Core Duo T2050 1.6GHZ, DDR2 1.49G, Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Controller 0. Currently running Vista Ultimate. Previously using XP Professional SP2. It was allright before upgrade to VISTA. I can use the web cam. After installing Vista, I can’t locate the webcam. I even tried the Device Manager, It still fail to detect the web cam. Software from the LAPTOP manufacturer is support until XP only. Anyway to solve it?

this my phone must be rugged and able to perform in each land and clime. the tv in it can be projected to a white screen. the projector should have enough memory about 20gig and can download from microsoft powerpoint without you having to type in the document. since it is mobile, it should have something like Google earth map showing you on demand where you are. when a little comonent is installed in it and fixed unto another component like a car, it should be able to track the automobile or component including stored phone numbers. when connected to any personal through usb it should automatically accept a keyboard and mouse for direct input of data. when connected to a tv set, each data goes on screen and controlled from the phone or the tv remote contoller. it can receive local radio stations or from the internet. each information in it can be contained in a removable memory card of about 40 gigabites.
