We want to watch the world wide web on Television w/o directly connecting a pc.?

I have seen Video Media “boxes” that appear to grant world wide web content but not sure exactly how they work. One option we like is being able to access our Netflix account. What additional world wide web content would be available. It appears we can watch additional world wide web content but want the freedom to choose. We have a wireless network set up. I was hoping to add the “TV Boxes” to more than one tv and turn off our cable.

CONNECTING LAPTOP TO TV VIA VGA?

Hi,

I’m in need of help. I am trying to connect my laptop which is using Windows 7 Ultimate to my flatscreen Television via VGA but when I connect it sometimes it will go on for a split second and go off saying ‘Unknown Format’ I already have the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile installed. How can I make it work?
