IS THERE ANY WAY TO EITHER DISPLAY YOUR DESKTOP ON YOUR TV OR STREAM INTERNET TV SHOWS FROM FOX.COM TO YOUR TV?

Besides the obvious way of running a cable. That is not an option. Windows Media Extender does not seem to support hulu or network tv sites yet for streaming so I cannot think of any other way. Boxee might in the future but it’s only in alpha and I am not sure if there is a windows version out for it. So far it seems like the ideal option is to purchase a laptop or desktop to put close to the TV, but I was hoping for a more affordable option. Thanks!

CAN MY DESKTOP STUFF UP MY MONITOR IF ITS TOO CLOSE TO MY MONITOR?

when i’m watching any type of videos i get a couple of crinkles each so often and i’m think its coz my personal is right next to my monitor. i was using my mums mobile/cell phone this day at the the personal desk and the same thing happened on the mobile/cell phone which is weird. could there be a fault thats send out some type of signal thats distorting the monitor and mobile/cell phone? i do have my tv also near my personal in my bedroom. whats the prob?
