Justin Kan and his team at Justin.tv just started a mobile live video webcasting about a month ago. I kind of comprehend the general concept of how the technology works. I can guess that they might use the following: head-camera, video transmitter that connects to the camera, cellular card that connects to the video transmitter, celluar card that attaches to the video receiver, video receiver that attaches to the webserver, video viewing software, video recording software, a wireless phone plan, and some programming codes for the website. But as to exactly how it works and what devices and software that they actually used, I am not too clear. Does anyone with a technical background know how it is put together? Please provide answer step-by-step with details.

Everyone speaks about digital technology – but what exactly makes a thing ‘digital’ as opposed to something-else technology? How can I know what is and what isn’t? Please keep it clear and simple.

I have no DVI or HDMI port on my laptop, only VGA. I do not know if I should get a 32″ 720p or 1080p TV.
WHERE DO I GET DECENT QUALITY MP4 MOVIES OR TV SERIES THAT WORK ON JAVA MOBILE PHONES?

Most of them have no picture and just have sound.
90% of those that do play have the sound 10seconds in front of the picture.
Anything over 240×320 or 320×240 wont play on the phone, and they obviously cant be a zip file or rar file as the phone wont extract passworded files.
70mb unpassworded files take 4hours to extract.
I cant download from a personal because i dont have one any more, it smegged up on me!

I have a Toshiba A305 S6859 Laptop. Dual Core, 2 Gigahertz processors, 4 gigs of RAM. It has S-video output, but no “Television” setting for output. I KNOW that the system specs and chipset are capable of “television” output- I have seen the screen-captures for the driver configuration screens.. How do I force a driver change? When I try to download the Intel driver I want, it tries to tell me to download a Toshiba-configured driver. HELP! What is the point of an S-Video port with no output capabilities? This seems like a cheap money-saving ploy.
HOW DO I SWITCH OFF THE HP MOBILE REMOTE FUNCTIONALITY?

At home we have a media center as our tv and as my laptop has the HP Mobile Remote to work as a remote control for my media center, the two are conflicting. Basically when I work on my personal and somebody else is playing around on the tv with the media center remote, my personal responds to this. Any ideas?

Actullay i seen a tv show where they were telling about the on the web calling service for free to any one in the country. but i missed that . any body know where i can make call on the web free. any tool any way.

I will be moving in the next couple of months and I am looking for a list of providers so I can begin calling and see if they offer anything in my area. I have contacted all the ones I could think of off the top of my head, but I know there are more out there, I am just surprisingly having a really hard time finding them. Help!!!
