Needing advice on streaming movies from a centralised point?
At the moment I stream movies from my Computer to my xbox so that I can view them on my tv but this is obviously costing money to leave the Computer running. Is there a way in which I can put my movies on an external hard drive and have that connected to my wireless router so that I can stream movies directly from it without having my Computer on? Can you advise of any products that would be good for this situation?

I have a cable world wide web at home coming via a c cable. I am planning to have a tv at the same point.
As far as I comprehend I have have both using a cable splitter with one “IN” and 2 “OUT”. Am I right ?
Also what kind of splitter should I go for? thanks
