I’d like to use one remote control for my TV, AV receiver, stereo etc, plus my PC. I am happy if it’s just the mouse I can control, but if it can do some typing (even rudimentary, like cell/mobile phone texting) that would be great. Thanks in advance! HOW DO I SWITCH OFF THE HP MOBILE REMOTE FUNCTIONALITY?

At home we have a media center as our tv and as my laptop has the HP Mobile Remote to work as a remote control for my media center, the two are conflicting. Basically when I work on my personal and somebody else is playing around on the tv with the media center remote, my personal responds to this. Any ideas?
