I’M HAVING TROUBLE WITH CONNECTIN PC TO TV (USING S-VIDEO TO RCA) HELP?

I purchased the cable at Radio Shack, It’s S-video to Rca, I plugged it in to my tv and laptop and then … da da da nothing happens.. So I searched for help and read that i need to press my FN key + F key with the monitor, So I did and my tv does nearly the same as whenever I turn on a game console, But then just goes back to saying “video2″, When I open up Display properties then settings, I have 2 monitors without plugging the s video cable in, And they both monitors are Mobile intel express family… So any help ? Pl0X
I just figured out that my s-video slot on my laptop is for 7 pins while the cable only got 4 pins.. might that be the prob?

VGA TO S-VIDEO 3 RCA TV AV CONVERTER CABLE ADAPTER HELP?

I recently bought 3 vga to side video converter cable adapters with the rca things too, and i can’t figure out how to make them work. everything seems to be connected correctly. here is a photo of what i bought:

i’ve tried with two different ones to make sure the one i was using was not broken. i can’t figure out how on earth to make it work since nowhere really describes in detail the exact things i need. ( i have double ended male rca cables and double ended male s vid connections) i know i could just use a double ended male s vid cable on its own but it’s not always an option for me at the moment.
i have tried all resolutions, all tv modes and nothing will make it display.
dell inspiron 6000
2GB ram
32 bit win7 ultimate os x86
mobile intel(r) 915gm/gms,910gml express 1.60ghz
(terrible i know)
the TV I have tried it on is a projector tv and has all needed input slots for it to work.
any and all help is appreciated and much needed
it’s not a matter of video file conversion.

VGA TO S-VIDEO DISPLAY TO TV NOT WORKING?

I’m attempting to connect my laptop to my Television and i’ve come across some problems. First problem is my personal only video output is VGA, something i did not think about when buying it. So i bought a VGA to S-video adapter. Here is what it is and where i got it:

anyways i’ve hooked it all up through svideo and through the yellow rca… i’ve changed some settings around nothing has worked.
My graphics card is a mobile intel(R) 965 express chipset family. the Television is a JVC 32″ LCD TV.

TV NOT DETECTED AS SECONDARY DISPLAY DEVICE ON LAPTOP CONNECTED THROUGH S-VIDEO TO RCA ADAPTER?

TV Out problem:
I have a compaq presario V3070TU laptop connected through S-Video out to the RCA input of my Television (Samsung CS-29K44ME).Laptop has Intel 945 mobile chipset as graphics card. I am unable to get my Television work as secondary display device as the laptop does not detect it at all. I have tried turning on the TV, then connecting the cable between laptop and Television and then booting the laptop,all but to no avail.I have tried switching to AV1 and AV2 sources on TV.In While in AV2, if I use the Fn+F4 combination key on laptop, the Television screen flickers a bit, but no desktop image appears.The Display properties of the Intel 945 chipset on the laptop does not detect the secondary display and shows only ‘1′(which is desktop) when click on ‘Identify’ button.All the RCA pins (Video and Audio) have been connected to the sides of the Television correctly.I appreciate any help in this regard.

I brought a VGA to Television Converter S-Video / RCA OUT Cable Adapter off ebay for my Sony Vaio SZ360P. When I connect the AV connector to my Television it gives distorted lines on my screen. When I connect it to my VCR, it just stay on the blue screen. The video card is an Mobile intel 945GM express chipset. Anyone know how I can get this adapter to work?
i tried playing around with the resolution, the lowest it would go is 800X600… still doesn’t work

TOSHIBA A305 LAPTOP: SPECIAL INTEL 965 MOBILE CHIP-SET. S-VIDEO, NO TV SETTING. CAN I FORCE A DRIVER CHANGE? ?

I have a Toshiba A305 S6859 Laptop. Dual Core, 2 Gigahertz processors, 4 gigs of RAM. It has S-video output, but no “Television” setting for output. I KNOW that the system specs and chipset are capable of “television” output- I have seen the screen-captures for the driver configuration screens.. How do I force a driver change? When I try to download the Intel driver I want, it tries to tell me to download a Toshiba-configured driver. HELP! What is the point of an S-Video port with no output capabilities? This seems like a cheap money-saving ploy.
