Why do not legal video streaming Television sites grant viewers from outside their country?
I feel sorry for all of these people from around the world who cannot watch U.S. or Canadian shows at legal sites!
Does anyone know for sure why this is so?
I have been guessing that they have not figured out a way to run commercials for other countries yet so they just block everyone outside the U.S. and Canada out.
But does anyone know for sure?

Justin Kan and his team at Justin.tv just started a mobile live video webcasting about a month ago. I kind of comprehend the general concept of how the technology works. I can guess that they might use the following: head-camera, video transmitter that connects to the camera, cellular card that connects to the video transmitter, celluar card that attaches to the video receiver, video receiver that attaches to the webserver, video viewing software, video recording software, a wireless phone plan, and some programming codes for the website. But as to exactly how it works and what devices and software that they actually used, I am not too clear. Does anyone with a technical background know how it is put together? Please provide answer step-by-step with details.

I subscribed to a streaming video site and they have a lot of things I like to watch.
What equipment would I need to buy to make sure those things can be viewed on a tv monitor?
I assume I’d need some sort of connecting wire from my personal to the tv. A high definition tv? And perhaps a special video card?

I’ve been looking on the web for a new BlueRay player that I can use for *any* on the web streaming video. Each device that I look at lists what they are compatible with… NetFlix, Amazon, HuLu, etc. But I want to use it to stream a Television show from the UK. I get the show fine on my laptop, but would like it on the TV. What should I be looking for in the description so that I know the device will do what I want?
