Okay, so, can I get arrested and/or jailtime for watching a movie/tv show on the web for free?
I’m in the UK btw. I’d like to watch this tv show online. Not to download as a file and keep, or burn to a cd, but to watch it on the website and that is it. If the british govt is monitoring my world wide web use, what could the punishment be for this?

I used to watch the simpsons at a site called wtso.net but now the site has a notice saying people who watched shows there will get sued. I didnt realize it was an illegal site, I thought it was just them putting the shows on the web like they put Survivor on the web at cbs.com.

he showed me the website and it is a free website where you can watch shows. when you click on them, sometimes they get removed for copyright laws. I guess posting these videos are illegal but is it illegal to watch them? I am not downloading them or uploading these videos, i would just like to watch football games and stuff but i do not want to get me or my friend fined. i have not used this website yet, but i would like to if it is legal.

Does watching world wide web Television from a USB aerial eat into my monthly download allowance?
I have a tiny stick that plugs into the USB port and grants my laptop to receive Television channels. Howvever, it apparently needs an world wide web connection to work, it will not do anything on its own (unless I am mistaken?).
So, when I watch world wide web TV, does that actually involve any downloading? I ask this because I am using an world wide web connection that has a monthly download limit, which sucks.
